Bobby Brooks started his racing career in the late 80’s by first obtaining race training through the Jim Russel Racing Drivers School at Laguna Seca Raceway™ in Monterey California in 1987. After graduation he raced in the Jim Russell Racing™ series for 1 year and obtained his SCCA™ racing license. He flew between Hawaii and California for each race weekend.
